Haggerston School is a thriving community based school with an exciting future. In our pursuit for excellence, we are determined to provide the highest quality of learning experiences and highest standards of achievement for everyone in the local community.

Our students benefit from highly qualified, hard working and committed staff who provide challenging learning across a wide range of needs: academic, vocational enrichment and personal development. What makes us special?

  • The creative and cultural aspects of our school is an outstanding feature credited with the Arts Mark Gold Standard
  • We offer an innovative learning experience through Project Based Learning with a core emphasis on literacy, numeracy and ICT skills which takes place in a specifically designed learning space.
  • We are a specialist Technology College for the complementary subjects of Technology, Maths, Science and Information Technology
  • We have a second specialist status for Modern Foreign Languages and offer community languages as part of our curriculum
  • We have Training School status with a long standing reputation of success involving students in training teachers
  • We work in partnership with the Shoreditch Trust to enable us to offer an extended service for our students and their families
  • The school was originally designed in the early 1960's by Erno Goldfinger and is recognise as a modern movement listed building
